5 Unmissable Sights For Your Barcelona Segway Tour

They might be one of the most enjoyable ways of seeing a city, but Barcelona's historic streets aren't always Segway-friendly. Here are the places to go for a "funmissable" time on two wheels!

Parc de la Ciutadella

Parc de la Ciutadella

Park Güell may be Gaudí's gift to the city, but it's all steps, hills, and winding lanes. Stick to the traditionally scenic Ciutadella and admire its stunning lakes and fountains.

Arc de Triomf

Arc de Triomf

Cruise the Passeig de Lluís Companys from Ciutadella Park to Barcelona's triumphal arch. It wasn't built for a war victory at all, but as the gate to the 1888 Universal Exposition!

Casa Milà

Casa Milà

If you really want to see some Gaudí on your tour, you might find the area around Sagrada Família too crowded. Instead, tour Gaudí's Casa Milà along with many other magical buildings on the Passeig de Gràcia.

Santa Maria del Mar

Santa Maria del Mar

The broad streets of Barcelona's gorgeous seafront make it perfect for Segway fun and frolics! Just make sure your tour takes in this 14th century coastal church.

The Olympic Village of Poblenou

The Olympic Village of Poblenou

Purpose-built for the 1992 Olympics, this modern district still showcases some of the city's most striking buildings. It's also great for that clumsy first Segway outing!

Planning Your Visit

How much does it cost?

Prices for Barcelona Segway tours start at €29 (per person) and can cost up to €79, largely dependent on the length of the tour and the Segway models offered. However, be aware that you may be required to leave a deposit on the machines.

Are there age limits or restrictions?

Children must be over 10 to participate and must be accompanied by an adult. Individuals lighter than 45kg (100lbs) or heavier than 118kg (260lbs) should mention this upon booking, so that the tour provider can offer more precise information and guidance on the machines' weight limitations.

Great way to see a quick tour of Barcelona with great guide

Really great tour and great guide, didn’t catch his name but had long hair!! Good set up and ensuring you felt safe before set off and during the actual tour. Training not included in the hour so you got a full hours tour and good knowledge of Barcelona and it’s history. Again really nice way of ensuring you remained safe. We did one hour as it was our first time in Segway but would recommend two hours as flew by.. would highly recommend. Loved the app as was also really helpful to find the meeting pint etc.

Beautiful city and saw a lot of it on this tour.

Guide was excellent and we saw some great sights. Felt like we were on a standard sightseeing tour rather than a Gaudi tour though. Made our way to the Sagrada Família which was great but had to ask to see other Gaudi sights rather than the bull fighting ring on our way back. Would have loved to see more Gaudi than we did especially since that was what we booked and paid for.

Exciting, fun. Definitely a great way to see Mujuic since it’s all

We’ve never got to see the cemetery because one of the roads was closed, so that was disappointing. And I actually thought you were going to start in the gothic/old part of town but ended up just doing Mujuic. Which was fine but not what I planned on. I actually thought you were going to start in the gothic/old part of town, which is what I read and why I booked this tour.

Great way to see area of Barcelona and not have to walk the distance!!

We were 3 senior ladies that wanted to have a fun new experience in Barcelona. Our guide was informative, fun and spoke very good English. Was easy to learn to ride a Segway. We had an excellent time and would do again given the opportunity.
