What people are saying about Barcelona

One of the attractions you must visit while in Barcelona

I must say that the Pedrera is not my favourite building made by Gaudí. Astonishing in the outside, it doesn’t offer anything special in the inside compared to Casa Battló, for example. The core of the entire visit is the amazing terrace with the iconic military soldier statues that everybody can see from the street, offering you a mesmerizing view of Barcelona. The audioguide was very efficient, changing automatically according to your position and getting you into the lifestyle of the bourgeoisie in the Modernist Era. An extremely pleasant experience I would gladly repeat. :)

Fasttrack really helpful, get to see the magnificent cathedral

A truly breathtaking experience. The colour and size of the cathedral are truly wonderful. Number one on my personal list of recommendations of places to see in Barcelona. The scale of building is hard to comprehend and the beauty of the craftsmanship is truly awe inspiring.

Our guide was knowledgable and passionate about his subject.

Our guide Francisco was knowledgable and passionate about his subject. He was terrific in guiding us through the amazing structure and in answering all of our questions, as well as questions we did not know enough to ask. Highly recommended!!!!

Informative, pleasant, delightful - highly recommended

The tour group was small - 5 total people - and we were delighted with the information and background provided by our guide. The time of day (1:00) was superb for seeing the cathedral lit up inside by light through the stained glass windows. The tour is relatively short (about 75-90 minutes) but all of our questions were answered and we saw several different aspects of the church. We remained afterwards to look through the museum and visit a gift shop.

Would be good to see more pictures/information how it was built.

I was surprised and outraged when have seen the elements made from rainforced concrete at eastern part of the building. I suppose Antonio Gaudi did not use such materials and technology. Or, it should be public information on that. I dont like churches constructed from rainforced concrete and other modern materials. There should be public control and openess. Another issue - prices for entry all Gaudi heritage are quite high and even not justified (compare prices for Casa Batllo and Sagrada Familia and volume of value to see and walk) and substantial part of income goes for completing the construction of Sagrada Familia. But where is the transpared financial information how this revenue is spent ? I am not against 25 euro for Sagrada Familia but 22 euro for Casa Batllo looks inadequate (comparatively). Barcelona is exploiting the heritage of Gaudi name sometimes not ethical.
