Begin your culinary experience with a stroll through the streets of Barcelona’s El Born district and Gothic neighborhoods. If you believe that the best way to discover a culture is through its gastronomy, this is the perfect way to spend 3 hours in this popular city.

You’ll walk along the streets of historic areas, learn the history and curiosity of these and stop to try typical tapas such as Iberian ham, various cheeses from around Spain, the spicy patatas bravas (potatoes in a spicy tomato sauce), the typical bread with tomato, an awesome octopus and several other foods accompanied by the suitable local wine. You’ll visit 4 different tapas bars, passing by beautiful buildings and along neighborhood streets en route.

The guide was very nice, good and very knowledgeable, it was overall a memorable experience and a pleasant evening. However, experienced that the staff at a couple of the places we visited were most uninterested in our presence, given that there were small places so guests should be appreciated for their visit to create the will to return to the place. It should be very grateful for the place in question when they receive the honor of being chosen to be part of a tour. Otherwise, maybe the company would choose to hire a restaurant that actually shows appreciation to get guests coming. The experience would have been greater with a more personal commitment from the restaurant staff.

This tour was so much fun. We got to see all sorts of little "off the beaten track" streets that we would never have gone down. The bars we went to had so much Barcelona character and history. The drinks we tried were really good and the tapas were excellent. We had plenty to eat and drink and enjoyed a lot of laughs with Eli who was a super guide. She obviously loves her job.

Best Tour Ever!

Pao (spelled correct I hope) was so knowledgeable and funny! He brought the tour to life. But this best part of this tour was that it was not a typical wine tasting. We tasted 3 different types of alcoholic beverages and for the finale, a beautiful red wine from Spain. The tapas were all different and delicious. The presentation was spectacular! The best was saved for last, Bodega la Tineja. This was previously recommended by my daughter as a must. Little did we know it was part of the tour. We returned two nights later. Thanks for a wonderful evening!
