Full description
Experience the beauty of Barcelona by Segway on a 1-hour sightseeing tour of the Old Port, seafront promenades and historic Gothic Quarter.

Following a short training session on the easy-to-operate, self-balancing vehicles, start by riding through the Gothic Quarter (Barri Gòtic), famous for its 4th-century Roman Wall and magnificent cathedral.

Glide down to the seafront to see the yachts and beaches of the Mediterranean coast. Enjoy a panoramic view from the ground floor terrace of the W Hotel, before riding past the beaches of Barceloneta.

Go to the Olympic harbor, before a ride through Parc de la Ciutadella to the Arc de Triomf, built as the main entrance to the 1888 Universal Exhibition. Learn how vast areas of La Ribera were demolished to create the city’s only green space for decades, before riding your Segway back to the meeting point.

This was a great start to our short trip in Barcelona. I didn’t know how to use the segway, but Alex was lovely, and gave us a little training session at the start! It was just my husband and I on the tour, which was much more comfortable. When searching for the meeting point, it is on the corner of an alleyway, so you might miss it, just look out for the “segway tours” sign.

So so worth it!! A fast and fun way to see some of Barcelona’s most iconic places. I definitely recommend getting the 2 hour version because 1 hour ends way too quickly! Our guide, Edward, was very informative and funny and we enjoyed this ride so much! I was a bit anxious going on the segway at first, but it turned out to be so much easier that I expected. 10/10 would do this again!!

unfortunately no sights of Barcelona were really shown. We drove along the main road through thickest traffic to a port. From there we were shown everything in the distance and briefly touched on. When the port arrived, half the time was up. We then had to drive back through the traffic with another group. The second half was also not German-language as booked. The Barcelona Cathedral was just a 10 minute walk from the starting point. So you could have done.
