What people are saying about Bangkok

This was an incredible and amazing find which I recommend 100%.

There aren’t enough positive words to describe this wonderful and memorable experience. Mae was absolutely lovely, kind, informative and pleasant from start to finish. She was very patient with my daughter (10 y/o) and took the time to take our pictures while we prepared the meals. Her assistant was seamless and efficient to change out our cooking utensils and supply the next rounds of ingredients. It was like being on a cooking show when all of the prep and clean up doesn’t interfere with the experience. (Seriously, a perk!) The food was absolutely delicious, and I still cannot believe we actually prepared such beautiful and authentic Thai food. My daughter and I LOVED this class, and we highly recommend it to all ages and all skill levels. The trip to the market was unbelievable, in and of itself, and the entire activity is a MUST DO if you want to experience a hands on Thai cultural experience that you’ll never forget!

Great experience, gives you a genuine feel of Thailand

We met Mae in her kitchen which was quite difficult to find. Google maps wasn’t perfect, but it was good enough. It’s through an alleyway which has food stalls everywhere. At the end of the alleyway you’ll come to a door with the cooking class sign to the right. If the sign isn’t there and you open the door, there should be stairs directly in front of you, go upstairs, and that is the kitchen. Remember to take your shoes off at the bottom. We took a tuk tuk to the markets with Mae, and she did a great job at explaining all the local food. This was very interesting as we got to see how the locals shop and live! After that we went back and cooked three different Thai dishes, and got to eat it at the end of it. You have so much food to eat at the end. Mae brings sticky rice and mango to have as dessert too! This is an excellent tour and will allow you to bring back a part of Thailand with you when you go home.

One of the best tours I have ever been on.

Tuk-tuk tour guided by Gimao was one of the best tours I’ve ever been on. We found our tour guide, Gimao, at the designated meeting point and as soon as she greeted us, we knew we were in for a great time. The Tuk Tuk’s arrived and we were on our way. The drivers were all very friendly and great drivers maneuvering the streets and traffic of Bangkok. The restaurants we were taken too had the best foods. We had the full experience of the various food Bangkok has to offer. Visiting the flower market and pagodas was enjoyable. So happy we had Gimao as our guide. She was very personable, knowledgeable and fun. She was the perfect fit for our group!

Amazing tour, entertaining guide but most of all: extraordinary food!

Wonderful tour experiencing the real buzz and magic of Bangkok at night- the city comes alive! By far the best and most authentic Thai food I’ve ever tasted. Very generous portions, we couldn’t have fit in a bite more! I really would recommend to all: combines the best Bangkok has to offer! And thanks to lovely Ron who was so informative and took very good care of us!

4 leckere Gerichte kochen und die Rezepte mit nach hause nehmen

It was fun going to the market and look at all the different vegetables and fruits that you can find. By cooking four delicious thai meals ourselves we learned a bit about what it is like to cook thai food. We could even adjust to our own taste and discuss variations (e.g. for vegetarian). Our chef was very nice and helpful :)
