Full description
Once you meet your guide, you'll have the chance to take a look at a menu from which you can choose a soup, a main course, and a dessert to learn how to cook later. Once you know what you want to cook, head to the local neighborhood market where you'll be introduced to the most important ingredients in Thai cuisine. Your guide will choose some seasonal local fruit to enjoy later and pick up what you need for your cookery class. On the way out, you’ll try some street-side snacks and then head to Courageous Kitchen's house to begin the demonstration. Courageous Kitchen is a remarkable not-for-profit organization that works with local children to teach them about the importance of nutrition and arm them with the tools they need to feed themselves and their families in the future. You’ll also have a refreshing local drink before you start cooking. After all your dishes are made, you can enjoy everything you learned how to cook. You’ll also enjoy the seasonal fruit your guide picked up at the market earlier. The tour will finish at Courageous Kitchen's house, but before you go, pass your email address to your guide and they will send you a mini-cookbook with a couple of recipes and a few of those tricky Thai words that you won't want to forget.
