What people are saying about Bangkok
Our guide spoke a superb English (including her pronunciation!) and knew an answer to all our questions. She also told us a plethora of interesting points including details about the food and the places/restaurants we visited. We have learned a whole lot about the various quarters of Bangkok along the tour. Our guide also encouraged everyone on the tour to also try some 'unusual' tastes and foods as well. A hint to anyone going on this tour: Don't have breakfast! ;-) We loved the international group being together on this tour and can only highly recommend this tour - even to travellers having been in Bangkok before! Thank you for an experience well worth the price and time!
The tour exceeded all my expectations! Oneyiwah, our guide, was a very knowledgeable person: she communicated with us her passion for cuisine through interesting insights. We covered many types of restaurants and went way beyond the usual thai dishes that everybody knows. We explored thai chinese cuisine, thai muslim cuisine, Issan (eastern Thailand) and many other delicacies from the street food stall to the more fancy. I'd recommend it without any hesitations to those who love to learn.
Nutt, our guide, was outstanding. She was organized, pleasant, and spoke excellent English. The small restaurants she took us to are all VERY local, places tourists wouldn’t go or even know about unless there was a recommendation. Two nuggets we didn’t expect: a stop at a street vendor for Mieng-kum, though it wasn’t one of our five scheduled stops, and a short boat ride across the river for the fourth restaurant location. Highly recommended.
Wonderful tour experiencing the real buzz and magic of Bangkok at night- the city comes alive! By far the best and most authentic Thai food I’ve ever tasted. Very generous portions, we couldn’t have fit in a bite more! I really would recommend to all: combines the best Bangkok has to offer! And thanks to lovely Ron who was so informative and took very good care of us!
Mod is a great guide. She was very informative esp when it comes to the food. It was only hw two of us so it is quite intimate. We had a lot of fun talking about different aspects of Thai history and culture and she was very game to give her views which we like. I would definitely recommend her as a guide.
