What people are saying about Bang Krachao
In the short time that we had this proved to be an amazing trip. You simply could not do this without a guide. We saw; the places where the workers of BKK live, crossed the river on a longtail, cycled through a beautiful park, past Wats, through secondary rainforest swamps, visited a floating market (we were the only Europeans there), picnicked on fresh fruit next to the river, saw a huge monitor lizard, cycled through the middle of a shanty town. Can't believe we did all of this in just one afternoon and the whole trip started from a few hundred yards from the skytrain. This is a must do trip. Small numbers, easy, safe, excellent guide. I rarely take organised trips, but enjoy self-organised leisure cycling. I have been missing out! We will be looking at this organisation for longer cycle tours in other parts of South East Asia next time we return. I am a bit fussy, so I would not usually rate anything as excellent, but I really could not fault this trip in anyway.
Wonderful tour, tailored to our needs- we are regular cyclists & just 2 of us on pm tour. Great way to see the way locals live, breathe in the fresher air of the Green Lung of Bangkok. Lots of info given, busy Sunday market, our guide was able to translate everthing & introduce us to local snacks. Made me apreciate our plush hotel.. highly recommended.. for a quieter day - avoid weekend, but it was still much less hectic than Bangkok & most people there were Thai locals or day-trippers.
I was looking to do a solo bike tour of Bang Krachao but I'm so happy I went with a group tour instead! Our guide, Nai, was SO friendly and knowledgeable, in addition to setting a good pace and ensuring everyone in the group felt safe in the higher traffic parts of the tour. It was fantastic to get away from the bustle of Bangkok proper and to see a slower pace of life while biking on beautiful roads.
Friendly Guide (Name : MAX), Cozy scenery, Quite long journey for trip in Bangkok but good for health. I strongly recommend for the travel in Bangkok If you like to go around the Bangkok by bicycle.
I think it is good for someone who can manage a moderate busy traffic and biking along narrow alleys in Bangkok City. Personally I do not recommend to children 12 or below .
