What people are saying about Anne Rice's House
The tour guide was well versed in all history of the burial practices and cemeteries themselves. It was clear our guide had passion for the material and I would highly recommend this tour. The tour was 2 hours which is slightly long for content, but I thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
We really enjoyed this tour. It is not meant to be scary theatrical tour, but more of historical perspective of how the city has adapted over time and the conditions that led to the way they bury their dead today. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable.
Learned so much about the history of New Orleans supplemented by an unexpected stop at transit center museum that was full of fascinating maps and photos. All ages in our group (20's to 60's) truly enjoyed and learned from this experience!
Went to St Louis Cemetery. Where Nick Cage and the voodoo priestess Marie Laveau are among many other famous New Orleans individuals are. Also stopped to even more places and got extra history on the way to and from the cemetery walk.
Our tour guide was very well informed and gave us detailed history along with amusing facts. She held our groups attention at all times with her great timing and wonderful sense of humor. She is a real asset to your organization!
