Full description
The walking tour in Andria starts from Piazza Vittorio Emanuele, the largest square in the city and a meeting place for citizens. From here, you will enter the historic center. The historic center of Andria is composed of characteristic alleys that intertwine together, monuments, ancient churches and bell towers.

Admire the Ducal Palace from the outside and the cathedral where two of the four wives of Emperor Frederick II of Swabia are buried. You will have the opportunity to listen to the fascinating history of the emperor who loved Puglia and Andria, which is why he had the Castel del Monte built, a UNESCO world heritage site since 1996.

Taste burrata, the queen of dairy products, and extra virgin olive oil in a restaurant in the historic center. Later you will visit the Confetto Museum, where you can discover the history and the preparation technique of this typical product. Top off your tour with a little taste of local candy.
