Awesome hike - but typical Spanish organization

First things first: the hike itself is amazing! You get great views of the gorge and its surroundings. Meanwhile phoenix vultures are circling over your head. Be sure to bring enough water en put on sunscreen because it gets very hot! Now, the organization itself leaves quite a bit to be desired. Our tickets were apparently reserved via a local tourist office and apparently these were the "cheap" tickets. This meant we had to wait half an hour to get in. You're just standing there in the scorching heat. Our guide was also late to the pickup point because he was stuck in traffic. Then on the way to Ardales, he says this is typical Seville traffic... Then why not leave your house earlier so you make it in time? Either way: great hike, bad organization. You might be better off driving there yourself if you can get a ticket.

A great course for a different Sevilla experience - highly recommended

Since we wanted to experience something different than the usual city tour on our Spain trip with friends, we decided to book a Flamenco dance course for beginners in English. This was one of the top highlights of the holiday. The dance studio is in the old town of Sevilla within walking distance of the Plaza de Toros (so the best way to get there is by public transport). We were greeted very warmly by Eva, our teacher, and she was confronted with the situation of managing a group of 10 "dancers" between the ages of 7 and 45. She did this wonderfully well. With her open nature she immediately succeeded in getting both the children and us enthusiastic about Flamenco - for 90 minutes! During this time, we managed to learn a simple choreography. Thank you very much Eva, we really, really enjoyed it! Absolutely recommendable!

I liked the independence allowed by this tour.

I had a great independent tour of the Alhambra. The Granada card was a big help as I like to go on my own, not in a group. The tour company made reservations for me to see the Nasrid palace as well as a good walking tour of the Albaicin and Sacramento neighborhoods. After that I was on my own schedule and with the Granada card I went where and when I wanted. Since I had never been to Granada, this was worth the money for me as it saved me a lot of time and confusion.

A beautiful and historically fascinating experience.

The Alhambra was breathtaking. Our guide (Natasha) was excellent. She provided a very informative and good humoured tour, answering all questions. At several intervals she invited the group to answer questions of her own about the possible use or identify of several objects and artefacts. We were given adequate time to take photographs at various points during the tour. A memorable experience enhanced by first class tour guide.

Alba was great, however the Alhambra is way too crowded!

Albas guidance was nice and informative. However, too many tickets are sold every day for visitors to explore the beautiful Alhambra. That causes a rush through a crowd and there is no time nor space to enjoy the beauty of the place. I recommend to go to the Alhambra EARLY in the morning (7:00 am) and to use an audio guide instead of a guided tour. That gives at least the possibility to visit the monument in your own pace.
