Pickup is available from the following locations: • 8:30 AM at Heineken Experience bus stop, Stadhouderskade 78 (wait on the side of the main entrance of the Heineken Experience, not on the water side) • 9:00 AM at A’DAM tower/Lookout, Overhoeksplein 5, opposite central station. From May 20, this location will be replaced with THIS IS HOLLAND – Overhoeksplein 51, opposite central station. To get to THIS IS HOLLAND, you can use the free shuttle ferry to Buiksloterweg that runs 24/7 from Amsterdam Central Station to the north shore of the river IJ (journey time is three minutes). Embark via the two middle pontoons. On disembarking, turn left. It’s then two minutes’ walk to THIS IS HOLLAND.

Full description
Depart Amsterdam and travel by air-conditioned coach to the open-air museum of Zaanse Schans. Marvel at the historic windmills and other typical architecture, and watch live demonstrations of traditional craftsmen at work to see how authentic clogs are made.

Get some free time to explore on your own before traveling through the distinctive polders (land reclaimed from water) of Beemster. Continue to Edam to see the tranquil canals, lined with beautiful 17th-century buildings, including Carillon Tower and the Town Hall. Learn how Edam cheese is made and taste some at a nearby farm.

End with a visit to the fishing village of Volendam, where you can buy souvenirs or put on a traditional Dutch costume for a photo keepsake. Walk through the oldest parts of the village to discover sights such as the wooden Stolphoevekerk before driving back to Amsterdam.
