Full description
As one of Amsterdam's most popular attractions, the Van Gogh Museum draws over a million visitors each year. With this ticket, discover over 200 paintings, 500 drawings, and more than 750 letters from Van Gogh at your own pace.

Access a wide range of permanent and temporary exhibitions.

In 2019 David Hockney’s world-famous art will be on display at the museum from March 1 to May 26. The exhibition Hockney – Van Gogh: The Joy of Nature unites both artist’s love of nature and shows the undeniable influence that Van Gogh had on the vivid, colossal work of the English artist.

From June 21 to September 1, Van Gogh’s iconic work Sunflowers takes centre stage at the Van Gogh Museum. The exhibition Van Gogh and the Sunflowers introduces fascinating stories about this painting and the research of the work.

Van Gogh had many heroes whose work he greatly admired. One of these artists was Jean-François Millet, and from October 4, 2019 to January 12, 2020, the Van Gogh Museum will illuminate the work of this French painter and the prominent 19th-century artists who followed in the exhibition Millet and Modern Art.
