What people are saying about Amsterdam

Tulips wonderful but the tour to the cheese & windmills had issues

Guide was very nice but not very informative - keep asking us if we had questions. He should have had a plan in place and telling us about where we were going and about Amsterdam, etc. Cheese place quick and nice however it is a place they stop so you will spend money. The windmill village had this same type of cheese demonstration. Not enough time in the windmills to visit them all and we did not even get to see the wooden shoe maker because our guide asked us to wait until the end and then 3 buses showed up and he said you can wait but it will be long wait now and suggested we not. When we first arrived at the village there was no one at the wooden shoe demo and no reason for us to have missed it. Keukenhof was wonderful and we did have enough time there.

Awesome information and we enjoyed thoroughly.

Someone on the tour asked why is it that mostly the Jews were persecuted and killed in WW 2? Unfortunately there was no answer for the question. For me it is strait forward - According to the Bible the Jewish nation is God's chosen people and they were warned in Deuteronomy that if they disobeyed Gods word they will be dispersed among all nations and they will be persecuted, which happened time and time again, even today. But God always saves a remnant of the Jews and at the end of times they will be restored as His special chosen people. Please convey this to our tour guide - I can not remember her name.

Extraordinary experience, exceptional guide!

My spouse & l had a relatively limited time to enjoy the museum splendors of Amsterdam last week, and especially wanted to “taste” the Rijksmuseum & the special Rembrandt exhibit. We booked a private tour and were paired with certified guide Steven Attersol who was exceptional. He receives our highest accolades. When we return for future holidays in Amsterdam, we plan to arrange at least a day with Steven to fully enjoy & appreciate this wonderful city.

Fascinating visit to Body Worlds Amsterdam!

My friend and I made a last minute decision to visit the Body Worlds Amsterdam exhibition alongside The Happiness Project and we were so pleased we did! The information throughout was interesting and thought-provoking and I would definitely recommend to others. Also really liked that we were able to visit in the evening - we were there around 6.30pm, so had booked an off peak ticket online through GetYourGuide.

The guide Manuel was extremely informative, accurate and entertaining.

We had a wonderful time with Manuel who was very knowledgeable and passionate about the history of Anne Frank. He provided us with insightful information related to the sights visited along with him being super approachable and friendly. I highly recommend the tour with Manuel for future references.
