Full description
This full-day tour of the Netherlands explores the iconic cities of Delft, The Hague, and the beautiful canals and merchant houses of Amsterdam.

Meet your guide at the central Damrak and explore old and new Amsterdam. The city tour by luxury vehicle takes you past the high points of the city, where almost 7,000 monuments are waiting to be discovered. As you tour, your guide will point out the most interesting architecture, explaining the rich history and culture of the city. Before you depart Amsterdam, enjoy some free time and visit a diamond factory to see how diamonds are still polished in the traditional way.

Following your morning tour of Amsterdam, continue to explore the city independently or grab lunch (at your own expense) during some free time (approximately 3 hours) before embarking on your afternoon tour to Delft and The Hague.

Next, visit the beautiful city of Delft, one of the best-preserved Dutch cities, dating from the 17th century. Tour a factory that has produced the famous blue-and-white Delft pottery for 350 years.

Continue to The Hague, seat of the Dutch government, and enjoy a city tour to learn more about the historic government buildings. While some of the city dates from the Middle Ages, The Hague sustained significant damage during World War II, and was extensively rebuilt and expanded after the war. On a walking tour, you'll then be taken to the "Binnenhof," the seat of the government, and will pass by the Peace Palace in a city tour by bus.

After the city tour by bus you'll be driven back to Amsterdam where you can enjoy your 1-hour canal cruise ticket at any time during your stay.

Good but exhausting

Amsterdam tour was informative and nice and because it was mostly just sitting in the bus and listening it needed not much energy so I believe it should have been the afternoon tour. I suppose you did that to always have a lunch break at noon up until 2:30. But the quality is more important than lunch time. The delft and hague tour can start from 8 or 8:30. And you can even give the option of us having lunch in hague. Is it forbidden there to get out of bus by the way? Such an amazing city and not a chance toset foot on it. And then we could go back to amsterdam and the amsterdam tour can start later that afternoon. You see it was getting dark in the end in the madira or whatever it was called in hague. And i believe just before march it is not even worth it. Other than that it was good and if the passenger does not get that tired it is worth its money. The staff were all nice and quite capable. The tulip tour should have had more advertisement in the website.

Mixed reviews

We were very happy with the afternoon portion of the day....the trip to The Hague and Delft....but the city tour was disappointing. The guide just didn't seem like he cared that much. The lady in the afternoon was very good...although we were rushed through the Pottery factory....it would have been nice to have more free time in Delft.
