After meeting your guide at the statue of the Dock Worker explore Amsterdam's old Jewish district. During the 2.5-hour walking tour you will learn about the Jewish district and its relation to the wider city, about the first origins of the Jewish community in 1600, and about the Nazi occupation of the city and the horrors of the Holocaust.

The tour is for history lovers and people who wish to better know Anne Frank along with many other stories about what happened in Amsterdam during the Second World war.

Along the way you’ll see the Jewish district, Waterlooplein area, Amstel, Dam and Anne Frank house (the visit and the entrance ticket inside the house are not included in this 2.5-hour walking tour). End the tour at Anne Frank House with plenty of helpfulo suggestions on what to see and do next in the city.

La guida, Lisa, si è dimostrata una ragazza preparata e ha saputo trasmetterci tutto il suo entusiasmo nel farci conoscere questa stupenda città. È stata gentile e paziente nel rispondere alle nostre domande. Durante il giro al quartiere ebraico ci ha dato anche nozioni sulla storia di Amsterdam e sulla sua architettura.

Buongiorno. Io e mia figlia siamo state accompagnate in questo tour da Marta. Ritrovo puntuale (5 min prima del concordato) ed accolte con un bel sorriso. Marta ci ha, con precisione, ricchezza di dettagli ed anche leggerezza, raccontato ciò che gli ebrei e la città di Amsterdam hanno vissuto, negli anni prima, durante e dopo la guerra. Il percorso è scivolato senza pesantezza tra le spiegazioni semplici ed i discorsi che ne sono nati. Il tutto tra le belle strade della città che si sono snodate, fino a giungere alla conclusione del tour, alla casa/rifugio di Anna Frank. Grazie a Marta :-)
