What people are saying about Amalfi
The views of the coastline from the water are unparalleled, and a huge reason to visit Amalfi!! We loved seeing all the towns and their unique details, but the tour guide's voice was muffled by the sound of the boat, so we barely heard anything. We didn't really mind, but I think they should look into improving that part, even if she stood outside with the group so we could try to read lips, that may have helped! I also think they should include the 6 euro fee for the emerald grotto in the initial ticket price.
The tour was superb...well organized as well... lunch was ok but the nice thing was that the drink was included in the meal...bottles of drinking water were distributed freely in the bus.. Our guide Veronica was lovely...very accommodating and well informed..she made the tour even more interesting... One point to note:- the start time of the tour was mentioned as 8am and we were given a pick up time of 8.30am.. the coach eventually arrived at around 9am, reason given was there was traffic..
It was the most fantastic trip. I loved it. Saw the places Wanted to visit. Was breathtaking. Opportunities to take photos at every point of the trip. My guide was amazing. She really looked after the mixed group of people. Getting us some local delicacies was a lovely end to a fantastic day. Thank you so much Giorgia you made the trip great. Anytime your in Essex I will be your tour guide. Thank you x I was a lone traveller and felt so safe. Which was important x
Would have been better if sights pointed out along the way. boat pilot not very communicative. Not good value for money.Only offered one drink- beer water or coke and one shot of limoncello. I would have expected drinks incusive for whole trip considering the cost of the trip. Also would have expected lunch included. we just got small tomato and mozzerala roll. disappointing.
I had troubles finding the place but the host’s team were extremely helpful and made sure I was able to meet the rest of the group which I found extremely helpful. The experience was great, we learnt a lot about the historical information of the island and the scenery was spectacular. Overall I’m glad I went, it’s a nice way to see the town.
