Full description
Get picked up from your accommodation in the morning by Land Rover by a multilingual experienced driver and head to the beautiful area of S.Brás de Alportel. This is a heritage tour where you will see real-life actual industries at work, mainly those centred around the cork industry. 

Start with a visit to S.Brás de Alportel old center and then take a guided tour of the Algarve Costume Museum and visit the Cork Room to watch a film and learn about working with cork from tree to finished product.

Then visit a traditional cork factory to learn more about the processes involved in preparing and packing the cork. See the cork shop where accessories are made from this natural product and take a guided walk in a cork oak plantation. There is free time for lunch, before returning to your hotel.
