We had an amazing time at our paella cooking class. We were welcomed the moment we arrived. We learned the local culture, the history of paella and what makes València Paella the best in the world! They teach you with pure joy and love for what they do. We were laughing throughout the class. They are a perfect team and should have their own cooking show! This was one of the top experiences we had on our 3 week vacation in Spain. I highly highly suggest this tour. It was fantastic!!!!
What a delightful and fun event! Maria, Raffa and Robert were experts at putting the class at ease, and then proceeding to treat us as treasured and honored guests. The laughter and good humor and camaraderie were as good as, or even better than, the tasty and delicious food that we had great delight in preparing. All travelers who love Spain and want to learn the correct preparation of authentic paella should include this event in their travels.
Beautiful country side. Nice to take a boat ride but not real scenic. We probably spent one or two too many hours there. The paella rice was very good, but the meat was dry. The calamari appetizer was cooked a few hours earlier and not crispy, but the service was excellent. It definitely gave us a good overview of the region. The bus driver was helpful too.
This was a perfect day out. The setting was stunning, the people were welcoming and informative about the history of paella and the place. The food was fantastic and everything was catered for. The only thing missing was a bed for a siesta! Would definitely recommend this experience if you're visiting Valencia!
We enjoyed a short bus trip from the city centre (commentary quality could be improved). Delightful boat trip, delicious paella lunch, explore of cute village + surrounding rice fields. Highly recommend.
