Full description
Explore the fast-changing landscape of Abu Dhabi on a half-day sightseeing tour, and visit traditional and contemporary landmarks, such as the Grand Mosque and the attractions of the Corniche.

Following a pick-up from your hotel, transfer to the spectacular Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, considered the key site for worship in the United Arab Emirates. Marvel at the main features inside and out, such as the Inner Courtyard and Minaret, design motifs of Naskhi, Thuluth, and Kufic calligraphy, and slender columns reflected in the water mirror.

Then, drive back towards the Persian Gulf and see the modern-day developments of the Abu Dhabi Corniche. Admire some of the world’s most ultra-modern and breathtaking skyscrapers and luxury hotels facing the pristine beach.

Next, go to the traditional vegetable, date, and fish markets of Port Zayed in the northeast of the city. Due to its strategic position in the heart of the city, Port Zayed has been instrumental in bolstering Abu Dhabi’s international trade, and plays a pivotal role in Abu Dhabi’s Economic Vision 2030, the government’s drive to achieve economic diversification.

End with a visit to Heritage Village to get an insight into the traditional side of Abu Dhabi at a reconstructed desert village with handicraft stalls and open workshops.

Great tour to the mosque

Fortunately we had a private tour ... Emma gave us a lot of information about the country and its people .. The tour was worth it for that. The mosque is so impressive ... we also really enjoyed Herritage. Great beach, view of the skyscrapers on the Corniche ... just impressive. We can definitely recommend the tour ...

Highly recommended, especially with the right guide ;-)

You should definitely have done this when you are in Abu Dhabi! With “Yas” (?) We had a very competent guide, who designed the tour with a lot of knowledge and anecdotes, as well as in the right places with the necessary seriousness and respect. The only point of criticism: As you know in advance, the mosque can only be entered in appropriate clothing and for women with a headscarf. Now every travel guide points out that head scarves are available here at the entrance. According to our guide, however, this does not apply to tour groups; the organizer has to take precautions accordingly. In any case, we were absolutely not informed of this and assumed that we could receive a suitable cloth at the entrance. With a little improvisation, our guide quickly solved this "problem". Nevertheless, it should be explicitly pointed out when booking the tour: For travel groups, you are responsible for the required clothing (including headscarf!).
