We had arrived at Zeebrugge on P&O Arcadia and the cruise company only arranged a shuttle bus to the port gates or the the town near to Zeebrugge (not Bruges) The friendly staff for the bus company arranged thru Get Your Guide were expecting us and gave us a map and detailed instructions of how the shuttle buses ran and where we would be taken in Bruges for the drop off/pick up. The driver wa svery friendly and the buses ran regularly and were well maintained. It was a shame that more people from the ship did not use the service (it ran both ways with only 6 or 7 passengers) and we know that P&O charged much more for their service to and from Bruges.

The tour guide was very good. He told us interesting facts about Brugges. It was very informative without being boring. He knew answers to our questions. Was very friendly and helpful. At the end of the guide he took us to the Xmas market and showed us how to get back to the bus. Would highly recommend

From the ship boarded the free Port shuttle bus that was waiting to take us to the terminal building. Walked straight through Terminal building and out of the doors to the offices, over the road, where we were met by a representative who gave us a map, tickets and timetable and guided us to the coach. On arrival in Bruges there's a short-level walk to the town centre, from the coach park, and this appeared to be almost the same location that was used by the Cunard half day trip costing nearly three times as much. Within 5 minutes of arrival we met some people that had taken the Cunard half day excursion and apart from them having a Rep. on their coach we could see no difference - except the cost - our transfer cost £17:50 each and their's was $55 each. I'd definitely choose this again over the Cunard offering.
