Zakopane is the winter capital of Poland located in the very south of the country, about 110 kilometers from Krakow. The resort is located at the very foot of the Tatra Mountains, providing unforgettable and spectacular views of the highest Polish peaks. Zakopane itself is an attraction containing the famous Krupówki Promenade, traditional buildings, and ubiquitous folklore.

You will begin your day trip in the morning, at which point you will be picked up from your hotel. From there, enjoy a 2-hour drive to the lovely village of Zakopane.

After arriving in Zakopane, you'll have 5 hours of free time to explore the village on your own. You can ride the funicular railway to the top of Gubałówka Mountain, try delicious Polish cuisine, or visit the local market to admire the creations of Polish craftsmen, which include the popular local smoked cheese.

You can also choose to enter a wooden villa built in a traditional architectural style, or walk through the picturesque streets, the choice is yours. At the conclusion of your experience, you will be returned back to your Krakow accommodation.
