Fantastic tour of Varazdin and Trakoscan Castle

Our guide was fabulous, Gorrin, because he was a history major and new everything about Croatia and the surrounding areas. On time and professional with a very comfortable ban. Spent time in Varazdin, a small town about an hour outside Zagreb with some time to explore on our own. Trakoscan Castle was located on a beautiful lake, great views with original furniture furnishings in the castle. A bit of a hike uphill to get into the Castle.

nice trip to a quiet town and a great castle

Beautiful tour of the Croatian countryside that started in the quiet town of Varazdin. There were only 2 of us in the tour, so our guide Maja was able to provide a more personalized attention and answered our questions while also giving plenty of facts about the country and about the are we visited. Good schedule that included a short break for snacks and while there was no time for lunch in the schedule, she was more than willing to stop for us to buy something in case we wanted it. The tour continued with a visit to the charming Trakoscan Castle and once again Maja guided us swiftly and efficiently though the rooms. Around 15:30 we started the trip back to Zagreb arriving shortly before 17:00 (due to traffic).

Después vuelta a Zagreb.
