Full description
Depart from Zadar towards the waterfalls in Krka National Park. Once in the National Park, your guide will introduce you to the history and legends of mystic Krka River. You will stroll through well organized wooden trails along Krka River and enjoy the peace of the surrounding forest. Take a photo next to most beautiful travertine barriers and visit renovated ethno exhibition of stone houses and watermills depicting the way locals lived in this area. You will also discover more about hydropower power plant built just two days after the one in Niagara Falls. During the summer you can take a swim next to 'Skradinski buk' waterfall in Krka National Park with its  800m-long cascade that descends 46 m before crashing into the lower lake.

As you explore the nation park further take a boat to the Visovac islet, situated at the center of the lake. There you will have some free time to walk around the island and to visit Mother of Mercy Franciscan Monastery, founded in the 14th-century.

After your time in Krka National Park follows sightseeing in Sibenik. Sibenik has medieval heart since it is the oldest Croatian town. With a labyrinth of Dalmatian steep streets and its defensive fortresses system, it is a joy to explore. Visiting Sibenik is unimaginable without visiting its Cathedral of St. James. It was constructed for more than 100 years and the only cathedral in the whole Europe built entirely out of stone. No wooden architectural elements were used for its building. Instead, a unique system of inter grooved stone plates were used without any use of binding material. From 2000 it has been listed on the UNESCO World Heritage list.
