Day 1
Kick off your time in Armenia with a visit to the country's oldest and best-known attraction, the biblical Mount Ararat. Travel to the Khor Virap Monastery, which offers the best and closest views possible of the majestic Ararat. Spend some time exploring the monastery, which was built on the site of a former royal prison.

Later, pay a visit to a winery where you will have the opportunity to taste and even purchase Armenia’s renowned Areni wine, made from the oldest grape variety in the world. Afterward, enjoy some free time in the town of Areni itself.

In the afternoon, visit the monasteries of Tatev and Noravan to admire their medieval architecture and spectacular views. Take a ride along the longest airway tramway in the world, which was registered in the Guinness book of records in 2010, before retreating to your hotel for the night.

Day 2
Today, get acquainted with the medieval city of Shushi, one of the main cultural and educational cities in the Caucasus. Admire the surrounding picturesque mountains of Artsakh and pay a visit to the imposing Ghazanchetsots Cathedral.

You will also get to visit Hunot Canyon, Askeran town, and the ancient of Tigranakert today.

Day 3
On your final day, visit the ancient Dadivank monastery complex, one of the most charming monasteries in Armenia, situated in the picturesque valley between the Artsakh and Mrav mountain chains.

Your next stop is Gandzasar monastery, where you can admire various Armenian architectural treasures. Continue your trip along the shore to Noratous, a village that is home to the largest collection of the Armenian Khachkars – stone steels engraved with a cross, designed to show the way to salvation.

Complete your tour with a visit to the picturesque Lake Sevan and Sevanavank Monastery.
