Full description
Your guide will give you instructions on river safety and technique, as well as tips on river reading and directions as to where to find the action and best play spots. With a bit of practice you’ll soon be cruising down the river in style. Be prepared to get a little wet and have a giggle.

You will be greeted by the professional and friendly guides and transported to the Clutha River access point. You will then be fitted with your gear and given a full safety briefing and instructions for your tour.

Once you are on the water, it's time to have some fun!  You will travel approximately 22 kilometers of grade 1-2 rapids. Along the trip you will stop and have a tasty snack - usually a delicious chocolate brownie!  After your tour is complete, you will be transported back to the Wanaka Town Centre.
