What people are saying about Wadowice
There were a number of stops en route at churches. The guide was quite informative. My wife was wheelchair bound and found it difficult accessing one church. (The wheelchair had to be folded to get it through the entrance door). That was our only criticism. The main square at Wadowice did not have a very good selection of eateries so next time we will take a flask and sandwich with us. The museum was so well laid out. The tour lasted over one hour and the guide, who was a young polish lady, must be commended on her communication skills. Her spoken English was excellent. She was entertaining, informative and knowledgeable. Her interaction skills were commendable. She even taught us Polish! Well worth going on this trip.
My family and I wanted to visit Wadowice, the birthplace of Pope John Paul II and the sanctuary of St. Faustina nearby Krakow, so we signed up for this tour. It was great - our driver and guide Marek was excellent: he was kind, knowledgeable, diligent, and super open in sharing about his country Poland. The schedule was well-timed to give enough time at both sites and despite the heat, we all had a memorable time. Highly recommended.
Our driver, Zygmunt was pleasant and very helpful. It made our tour very interesting and informative. Glad I did the tour and picked the right day as well because we're only few in the group in the family home tour of Pope John Paul. Managed to absorb almost everything from his childhood life until he died. I recommend the tour and Zygmunt our driver and guide.
The tour has been very nice and the guide has been very professional and prepared. We had time to spend everywhere and the day has been plenty of emotion
Thought the cost of the taxi also included entry to museum and so felt we were overcharged for our trip out there but otherwise it was excellent.
