What people are saying about Vis
Day started well, we found our ‘host’ by the meeting point and were taken to our boat. The skippper aka the host aka Leon was great and gave us a little brief before setting off. At each stop we were told a bit about th history of the place and we even stopped to see some dolphins that happened to swim around the area we were. All in all the day was great, great boat, great host and so much beauty to take in! The blue cave is a must but I think the green cave can be skipped as you have to be there at noon to get the colour of the cave. The beaches were all gorgeous and we stopped for a drink and some sun on all of them. It was a great day and I would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys being on a boat for a day! Don’t expect the journey not to be bumpy but is very fun!
The hosts are amazing!! They are friendly, supportive, and prompt. My boyfriend and I are both 22 and from the U.S. We think the hosts made the perfect itinerary for the tour and it seems like the other travelers felt the same way. During the cave tour day, the blue one was breath taking and the green one which you pay to swim into is definitely worth it. We actually liked the hosts so much we signed up again for another day. Since the caves were closed this day, we just went around to see beaches and it was equally enjoyable. Being on a speed boat is a unique experience and a great way to see different swimming locations. There was a nice variety of beaches, some with restaurants, some busy, some more private. The waters were amazing colors and we saw fish at almost every location. Some advice would be to sit in the back of the boat because it was very bumpy in the front and became more uncomfortable in the end than just fun and thrilling.
Awesome day out, saw so much and skippers were friendly and fun. They were also willing to adjust the itinerary to let us see more of what we wanted to see.
