Awesome tour of underground and upper levels.

After an initial delay by tour company and then being joined with a different group we got under way about 25mins late. The counter staff at top meeting point were fantastic and took us to a different meeting point for underground tours. Our guide at the coliseum Chiara was fantastic. Learnt so much, she was an archeologist and very informative. Got to see the upper sections which we weren’t expecting which was awesome. Underground def worth visiting. We had a different guide for the forum and palatine hill. More of a story teller. Potentially not the style of tour that we like. Only real negative was The different prices charged to people for same tour - we found out we’d paid quite a bit more than another Aussie couple on the tour who hadn’t Prebooked.

Very interesting, well explained from audio player excellent English

I had seen a television documentary about the Colosseum so knew quite a lot about it but there's nothing like waling round it and seeing how it was built. I was disappointed that my audio player ran out before I visited the Palatine Hill because I found this fascinating. I asked for a refund but was refused. I hadn't been warned that the player only lasted for 2 hours and would have gone to the Palatine Hill before the Forum had I known. The English was excellent and I found both places very interesting and could have stayed longer. Well worth a visit.

Good, but a large group and missed the Palantine.

The tour guide was knowledgeable, but the group was 30 people and she did not try to ensure the entire group was able to see materials or was engaged, often facing the other direction from half the group for twenty minutes of talking and showing pictures. We listened to her for at least 50 minutes before even going through into the colloseum and she completely missed the Palantine Hill in her tour. OK tour, but would have been better with a smaller group and a tour guide with better English.

Booking a skip the line ticket is a MUST!

It was a joy skipping past the huge line at the Colosseum. We got in with no hassle and it took around 10minutes max, versus some people who had been waiting in line for hours. The Colosseum/Palatine Hill/Roman Forum were incredible. So worth the money and would do it all again in a heartbeat as there is a vast amount of things to see at Palatine Hill and the Roman Forum, could spend a whole day just at those two sights.

Brilliant Guide but meeting place hard to find

Took a while to find the meeting point. It wasn't very clear on the e-ticket. When we finally found it, staff could have been friendlier. A smile and hello is a pretty basic, universal, part of customer service. Once we were with the Tour guide it was great. She was lovely and very knowledgeable. Most of all she bought everything alive with her enthusiasm which is exactly what we wanted.
