What people are saying about Verona

Stunning family run vineyard, delicious wine & light lunch.

Incredible experience in a stunning setting. It is not made clear on the website on how to get to the vineyard, however if you call ahead you will be able to organise Jacopo to pick you up from Verona and take you back. Alternatively a taxi is €35 to €40 from Verona train station. The tour and light lunch lasted approximately 3.5 hours. The wine samples are generous and the lunch provided included bread, homemade olive oil, salami, cheese, homemade cherry chutney (which is delicious!) and almond biscuits to compliment the wine. If you don't know too much about wine (we didn't) you will leave well informed with a keenness to learn more! Fantastic experience. I couldn't recommend it more.

A Unique, Fun, and Delicious Experience!

My husband and I signed up for this class, as we love gelato and were excited to learn how to make it. What we got was so much more - instruction by the talented, passionate and enigmatic Alex, the opportunity to make not just gelato, but tiramisu and peach sorbet as well. Every item we made was delicious and created with care. Alex truly wanted us to be able to recreate the desserts at home, which was great. The kitchen space was beautiful and perfect for this activity. It was very much a hands-on experience, and we had a chance to mingle with the other participants as well. The cost was more than reasonable! An unforgettable experience, highly recommended!

One of the Best Tours ever - Thanks to Rachel and Mario

The tour was well planned and executed. Mario and Rachel were extremely knowledgeable and provided an experience that will last for a life time. The tour of two different wineries was an interesting comparison of same wines but different in nose and taste. The lunch at a local restaurant was superb...their local meats and pasta were outstanding - the dessert was exceptional. We plan to go back for a return visit. I consider them “new friends” in our experiencing the world. The personal services made our trip stress-free. The expense was high, but the experience was worth it!!!

Great experience & great value for money!

This tour was worth every penny we paid. Driven to and from Verona, to 2 different vineyards - with wine tastings and food at each one. Very informative guide and we learned so much about the wine-making process...and which wines suited our own tastes. Would highly recommend! If you're thinking of taking a tour - make sure you check if there's a Verona pick up point (like there was with this tour), otherwise - with the cheaper tours - you'll need to get yourself to the vineyards and back which could cost you more.
