A really interesting tour with unexpected stories and interesting facts and knowledge that you wouldn't have found otherwise. Our tour guide was Julia - she was really friendly, lovely and great at keeping the group together, telling stories and looking after everyone. She spoke really well and you could always hear her even in busier areas. It was nice to see small corners and hear the mysteries surrounding the city - something that's new from the facts you find in tour books! Great tour thank you!

Giovanni was an excellent tour guide. He took us around all the little nooks and crannies of Venice, sharing interesting historical facts; legends about gruesome murders, suicides and public executions at the behest of the Doge. In addition to the ghosts and legends, he recommended some wonderful eateries and quiet, more authentically Venetian places to go to escape the crowds and get a proper taste of what makes Venice so special. My favourite part was the theatre with the missing statues of the two lovers - it was charming and intriguing! An excellent tour guide- but be warned, it’s not exaggerating when it tells you to bring sensible shoes. Even with practical footwear my legs were killing me! Thoroughly enjoyable and definitely worth every penny!

At the meeting point you have to exchange your online ticket in paper form. Totally pointless in my opinion and that was not properly communicated in advance. Otherwise everything was fine. : D Unfortunately, the tour had to stop shortly before the end due to heavy storms. I can recommend it
