What people are saying about Venice

Great Easy, Efficient path from Marco Polo to Venice!

Considered all the options to get from Marco Polo airport to Venice. While shared water taxis seemed to be an option for a spectacular arrival, I felt from the pictures that they would sit too low in the water, be crowded, really not give a good return for cost! The choice for us was the Express Bus! Got our tickets on line and printed them. Stepped out the ground transportation area and there were the buses! The clerks were efficient, understood English, helped with the validation process! The bus was clean. The ride was quick, safe, a really great option to get a feel for the location of Piazzale Roma in Venice. Upon arrival, it is easy to transfer to water taxi (vaporetto) service to the entire city. The vaporetto runs like a metro system with many stops along the canal. Stops often have more than one boarding area, coordinating to the direction and other stops it makes. Look, read and ASK before boarding. The system is cheap and works! You can also walk from P Roma via bridge

Definitely worth it! So much better than taking a Vaporetto!

Definitely worth it! So much better than taking a Vaporetto! Just one comment - there's a bit of a lack of communication once you book and pay. BUT they did fax the info to our hotel as promised, so there was no need to worry. Also, we were picked up very early for our flight, so we ended up sitting around at the Venice airport for a long time before our flight was even assigned a gate. But I still think it was worth it to take the shared water taxi!

An affordable and simple to get to Venice city

This coach runs regularly so you won't be stuck waiting for others to get on and for the next bus. Very neat coach which takes about 20 minutes to get to Piazzale Roma, where there's a water bus stop to the various areas in the city. Reliable and would use again.

Inexpensive and fast way to get to Citycenter

Quik and inexpensive way to get from the airport to Vince City center. Leaves you in a ten minute wolk to the cruise ships and in the entrance of Vice islands. Ride takes aboutb20 minutes tops and easy find and board. Buses come about every 15 minutes

Not a private gondola, and musician aboard a nearby gondola.

This is not a private gondola. The singer and musician are not on board each gondola... there are 6 gondolas with 6 people each who ride nearby one gondola that actually has the singer and musician. Had to wait in line for 10 minutes past start time.
