Since we were staying on Lido, this was a great aid to us getting to firstly, getting to Venice central, and the getting around without hassle. once our ticket was activated we had three days of unlimited travel on the Vaporetto system, with the added bonus of fine weather which meant that we could enjoy sitting outside and watching the fantastic views of the Grand canal etc as we glided past.

Very little waiting, many points of interest served by several lines; possibility with the pass to go to the islands (Murano, Burano, Torcello) ... Attentive, polite staff, easily responding to requests for information (some making an effort to speak a little French, others preferring that one speaks English). The ACTV line employs many people (reception, sale of tickets, management of travelers at each stop ...) which justifies the somewhat high price of tickets.

we took a 3 day actv pass for vaporetto, bus, which served us immensely. We moved to the islands all around to visit Murano, Burano, and the others. For our trips all around Venice, we went around Venice, then the inner canal too. We used for buses and trams, to go to Mestre. The price remains high, but we have amortized it well, because for 1 time it is 7.50 per person for vaporetto for a fixed period and to go to the islands, you will have to buy more. So calculate correctly for your purchase of the 1day, 2 or 3 or more days pass. We are very satisfied with our 3 day pass. I recommend.
