Full description
In just one day, you'll visit Rome's top two attractions: the Colosseum and the Vatican Museums. On average in 2018, there were 21,000 people daily who visited the Colosseum or the Vatican Museums. This number of people usually leads to long queues at ticket kiosks, but with this tour you do not have to worry about that.

The Colosseum tour also includes a tour of the Roman Forum and Palatine. It takes about 3 hours, and in this time you will learn more about the unique architecture and construction techniques of the Colosseum. The tour guides will tell you stories about gladiators and emperors that you will not find in classic travel guides. A visit to the Roman Forum is also definitely worthwhile, with the Center for Culture, Economics and Politics of Roman Antiquity still offering valuable treasures and sights today.

Afterwards, your 3-hour Vatican tour begins with skip-the-line entry at the Vatican Museum. You will see incredible works of art collected since 1503, as you learn more about works of art by artists such as Caravaggio, Giotto and Raphael. The famous Sistine Chapel is covered by Michelangelo's frescoes, and your tour guides will show you the best and most efficient way to tour this area. After visiting the Sistine Chapel, you will be guided to St. Peter's Basilica, which is considered the largest church in the world. Here you can see numerous art treasures, such as the breathtaking Pietà of Michelangelo.
