Great Tour

Our tour guide/driver was very good. It was great that they pick you up right at your hotel and after they drop you back off at your hotel. Would have loved to go on more tours in the area with him however we only had a limited time in Vancouver BC.

Unfortunately, half of our 15 tour members were about 45 minutes late to get on the mini-bus to start the tour! This then shortened each tour stop which was sad. Many did not return to the bus on time multiple times. Our guide, Steve, was terrific and he did the best he could with the shortage of time. Horseshoe Bay was a great place for lunch. Troll's Restaurant offers a variety of food options which were excellent! They were very busy, waited 5 minutes to be seated, 5-10 minutes to order, and to get our food. We were at the restaurant ~40 minutes and had to scurry to get back to the bus on time. Since we had to eat, we did not have time for pictures at Horseshoe Bay only pictures to and from. Note: there is significant standing required for the mine tour, 15 to 25 minutes. Tours require a bit of walking. Grouse Mountain is colder than Vancouver so bring a jacket/coat. It was zero Celsius the coldest October 9th (2019), in 90 years! https://www.grousemountain.com/current_conditions
