Full description
See the sights of downtown Vancouver and its surroundings on a comprehensive day trip. Travel by minicoach with an award-winning guide to Stanley Park, Granville Island and the Vancouver Lookout. Bordering downtown Vancouver, Stanley Park is almost entirely surrounded by the waters of Vancouver Harbour and English Bay and it was one of the first areas to be explored in the city. Cross to Granville Island to discover one of the city's hotspots for tourism and entertainment. Then, go to the Vancouver Lookout in Harbour Centre for breathtaking views from the observation deck. Continue your journey through cosmopolitan and historic neighborhoods such as Gastown, Chinatown, Robson Street, English Bay and Vancouver Harbour. Drive over the Lions Gate Bridge and into the temperate rainforest of Vancouver’s North Shore. Here, you will visit Capilano Suspension Bridge Park and the Capilano Salmon Hatchery. Admire the heart-stopping suspension bridge that spans 450 feet (137 meters) across and 230 feet (70 meters) above the Capilano River. Then, discover one of Vancouver's most thrilling attractions at the daredevil Cliffwalk. The extraordinary cliffside journey takes you through rainforest vegetation on a series of unobtrusive, cantilevered and suspended walkways that jut out from the granite cliff face above the canyon. Not for the faint of heart, it is high and narrow and, in some sections, made of glass - very strong glass! No visit to the Pacific Northwest would be complete without an impression of the life cycle of the Pacific salmon. Visit the Capilano Salmon Hatchery, where the interpretive center allows you to see fish develop from eggs to the juvenile stage. Depending on the season, you may also see juvenile salmon and trout in the display aquaria or mature returning salmon in the fish ladder.

This was a wonderful way to spend a day in Vancouver! They picked us up right in the front of our hotel a few minutes early which was good as we picked up lots of people! Seemed like a lot of backtracking, but that was not too bad as I got really familiar with the downtown area. It was a full bus but somehow we all managed to keep to Randy's schedule. Some stops felt a little rushed, but if we wanted to see the sights guess that is the price you pay. Stanley Park (2 different stops) Capilano bridge, Salmon hatchery, Granville Island (now to me, this stop was too long. Probably because it was our lunch stop and I am not really a shopper, but it was fun to walk around and look) then a drive through China town and past the clock to the Vancouver Lookout. This stop also felt a little rushed, but I could look out at the world for probably much longer than most folks. Overall a great way to see the highlights of a beautiful city - Just wish I hadn't been so rainy. Seriously - Take the poncho

It was more than we expected. It was an excellent experience. We really got to go "deep" into every sight we visited. In other words, it was like a family adventure than a tour guided adventure. Everyone was very nice and made us feel at ease. Her words were very real and comforting. She explained with real emotion and knowledge. It was like reading a book, but instead of words we got a chance to be right there. I would go again and again.

Good value. Tours like this are as good as the guide. Rhandi made my day from our first greeting. She was warm, bubbly & knowledgeable. Nothing was ‘un-doable’. She dropped us at the English Bay at the end of day to catch the setting sun. Even tho she is only in her first season, she has the makings of a great guide. Keep it up Rhandi.
