Full description
Escape the hustle and bustle of Vancouver city center on a spectacular cruise through the inland waters of Indian Arm, a 12-mile (18-kilometer) mountain fjord located right on the city’s backyard.

Climb aboard the luxurious MV Harbour Princess, and discover the calm waters of Indian Arm as you feast on a catered buffet lunch. Drift serenely past Silver Falls, looking out for native wildlife, such as seals, eagles, herons, and even black bears.

The route navigates its way through Vancouver's inner harbor to Burrard Inlet, a shallow coastal fjord that was formed in the last Ice Age. Then, head north to Indian Arm, nestled within the Coast Mountains.

The area was once heavily glaciated, leaving behind a dramatic landscape for you to enjoy, including lush forests that protect the inlet from the open waters of the Pacific Ocean.

Even though it was pouring rain, it was a relaxing day on the water. We brought along a deck of cards and were able to play games while we cruised along. We were warm and well fed. The salmon was delicious! The waterfall was a highlight. The tour guide was very informative and short. I would love to come back on a sunny day and do it again.

Indian Arm Half day tour from Vancouver

It was a very well-organized tour. Weather was gorgeous, and that added to the value. Captain was giving us a good bit of information about the area and and historic landmarks. Food was good (both of us liked salmon), the desert was OK (in Vancouver the expectations for desert are much higher, any small coffee place has an amazing selection of pastries), we had couple cakes a pie, nothing to write home about. That would be an excellent activity for people over 75 who cannot walk and parents with babies. We probably would benefit from getting off the boat and having a small walking tour. Overall it was a pleasant experience.

Nice afternoon on the water

The organisation when you got the boat was very good, quickly checked in and directed to your table, there was some commentary but it was not constant so there was time to chat. The food was good, two choices to choose from Salmon or chicken. The boat had really good views from inside the large glass windows were clean which helped, outside there were two levels you could use.
