A sombering experience very well presented.

Our guides, Linda and Patrice, provided an exceptional experience. They were extremely knowledgeable, helpful and informative. Their commentary was fabulous. The day started with a visit to Utah beach and a Museum. Both had plenty to see and a reasonable amount of time to look around. Next we visited a Cider Cellar where we tasted some really nice Ciders. Then it was off to lunch T a Fench restaraunt. They took care of special dietary issues and the food was fantastic. We then went to a defensive position overlooking the cliffs which had been blown to pieces before the D-Day landing. It was amazing to see. Finally, Omaha beach and the U.S. cemetery. I could not believe how many were buried here. Sad to see, yet we have what we have today because of their sacrifices. All up, an excellent trip.

Wonderful day with my family! Enjoyed all aspects of it.

Great day. As many have stated, they felt like they did not have enough time at the museums though there is not much you can do about that since the location is so far from Paris and much of the day is spent traveling. Even though the goal was to see DDay locations, I did appreciate and will remember for a long time the cider tasting and lunch. The tour guides were knowledgable and even though one was on his tour guiding, he was affable and we enjoyed his time. You have to start somewhere! I would give this tour 5 stars except for the fact we were told this was a smaller tour, which was one of the reasons I chose it, however there were 50+ people on this excursion. Only diminished the experience marginally but does not align with expectation setting.

Great day but not enough time at the beaches

My mother and I were fortunate to have a gorgeous day for our Normandy tour. Our guides were informative and kept the day moving. My only disappointment was how little time we had at each stop (45 minutes). I’d suggest skipping the hour-long cider tasting since we went to lunch right after that. Add that extra hour to Utah Beach. I think most people would prefer that extra time. Lunch was very good and the scenery was lovely. Also, the location of the bus needs to be clearly announced as many people couldn’t find it after our first stop.

Hard to appreciate in one day but this tour does it justice!

Zach did a great job utilizing time during the drive to give historical pretext to the events of D Day. Due to the time constraints (and no fault of the tour designer) We had short visit at Utah beach museum; wish we could have another hour there. Everything else was just right. We also had a very snotty/safe driver. Lynch was excellent and the cider farm tour was a unique and enjoyable experience, allowing a break in the heaviness if the day.

Fabulous; Zak and Daniel were informative and very helpful.

Zak's summary of the causes of both world wars was accurate and concise. The background of the events made the viewing of the battlefield more significant. Daneil's list of restaurants and his warmth added to the overall feeeling of goodwill. The driver's willingness to stop a few minutes helped us us to see why the landing at Omaha was so difficult..
