What people are saying about Ubud

Breakfast delicious, well organized, Orangutans cuddly and friendly.

Showing ticket and entering zoo was very convenient and easy. walking down the path into the zoo was enjoyable with the friendly deer greeting us (and taking photos with them). The breakfast service delicious and very nice food and as much as we wanted. we were given a queuing number to know when our time would occur to have photos with the orangutans. They were very cuddly, friendly, and very cooperative in posing for the photos with us. The two elephants were a big surprise and very enjoyable. They let me get very close to them, rub their checks and get good photos (no need for the elephant dinner, as you can get the same photos at the breakfast). There were 3 or 4 birds nearby the elephants for photos (sitting our our heads and/or shoulders) I was even able to return at the end of the line and take a selfie of myself and the second orangutan. Overall, a wonderful INTERACTIVE experience with the animals. The Bali zoo is well organized and very friendly--a wonderful time.

Fantastic cultural experience with very charismatic guide Sherif

We had an amazing tour with very informative guide Sherif. We saw iconic Ubud temples, the famous rice terrace, we tried the most expensive coffee in the world for a very reasonable price, observed local silverworkers and woodworkers while they were crafting, witnessed local Barong and Kris dance, had our lunch in spectacular place with a view to the vulcano. On top of that we got unforgetable cultural and religious journey with very patient and positive guide Sherif. He had a broad knowledge of Balinese culture and religion plus his personal qualities made this trip very easy-going and enjoyable. His personal experience and insights gave us a better understanding of local traditions and culture. We highly recommend this tour!

Did everything we wanted to do in one tour

Our guide was awesome. He took us to 7 stops, all of which we chose, in one day. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. The customizable tour is definetly the way to go. While the bali house tour and dance were lovely and interesting, we could have given them a miss as they a lot time out of the day. I highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to have a full day out exploring Bali. Definetly book the tour without the tickets included, extra fees were fairly cheap. - 10000 idr for the dance, 50000 idr for monkey sanctuary, 50000 for the temple.

Great breakfast. Orangutans were a bonus.

Breakfast with the Orangutans was great. There were two there with whom you could get a photo. While we weren't allowed to touch them, they could touch us, and a number of people had their arm held while they had photos taken. There was also an elephant you could feed, touch and have photo with. Following breakfast there was an animal display by the zoo staff, where a number of animals were brought out and introduced. We were then free to tour the zoo (no extra cost) and I was surprised how interactive it was. All in all a great morning at the zoo.

Adi is an awesome guide! Great experience!

This was a great day-long trip. The guide Adi was very punctual and happy to accommodate any last minute changes and wishes. He explained a lot about the Balinese culture to me and was very kind to answer any questions that came up during the trip. I had an outstanding time and with him and felt very safe all the way through the trip. The only critique point is that the webpage getyiurguide doesn’t advertise the tour correctly and states more things that will be visited than actually planned or possible.
