What people are saying about Ubud

An amazing experience that is a must for Bali travellers

Fantastic experience. We started with a very comfortable transfer from our villa in Uluwatu. Our guide Wi on arrival was amazing and gave us the best experience walking up Mount Batur and stayed with us overnight. He gave us great local knowledge, was considerate and very professional. We really enjoyed his company and invited him to sit and eat/drink with us to keep chatting, he commented how he was honoured to do this and I know he would have kept his distance if you prefer. The walk was strenuous but he gave us a challenge (thinking ourselves as pretty fit) and we pushed it to the top. The sunset was cloudy for us but views were still beautiful and the sunset in the morning was breathtaking!! Our tent was set up for us and the food was delicious and hot. We recommend that you wear good gripped shoes maybe shorts and T-shirt to walk up in with a change of clothes with warm layers in the evening. Take minimal stuff tho as you will be carrying it up. Great experience thank you Wi & co.

Our personal highlight in Bali - Tour with Erick!

The Tour with Erick (our Guide) is our personal highlight during our stay in Bali! It was a great, interesting and adventurous tour and we really recommend it. Our guide Erick picked us up at our Hotel (Kuta) and he drives with us to many sights near Ubud. During the drive he told us much about his religion, the traditional life and the culture. He speaks very good English and it was interesting listening to him! He answered all our question! Erick was the perfect guide for us and he is a very kind, friendly and helpful person! We are so glad that we booked this trip with him and can only commend it. We booked a lot of other tours (e.g. Snorkeling around Nusa Penida, visiting volcano), but no one was so great and informative like this one! All in all it was an amazing tour with an great tour guide and we really commend it to all people, who would like to see the real Balinese living, some sights around Ubud and who would like to get more information about Bali. Agus and Get Your Guide: awesome combination

This is our second time using Get Your Guide, but the first time using it in Bali; and our experience continues to be amazing. This time our guide was Agus. If you're ever in Bali and get Agus as your guide, you will not be disappointed. Agus arrived for us on time and with a friendly smile. Throughout our day with Agus, he maintained his professionalism and very friendly personality. Agus answered every question we had about what we saw during our tour. He answered questions about the buildings we saw, the culture of the people and the customs of the country. He is extremely knowledgeable and you could tell how happy he was to be able to educate us about his homeland, and his people. Conversation was easy to make with Agus. After our day with Agus, we feel like we have a friend in Bali. We look forward to hopefully having Agus again, when next we visit Bali.

Perfectly spend Time and money !!! Worth every cent

This tour is amaizing thanks to very knowledgeable and friendly guide. He took me to more places than were written in itinerary and knew a lot of “hidden” places to see sightseeing withou tourists around. I traveled alone so I paid bit higher price but I don’t regret any cent which I spend for this tour. It was amaizing !!! I can highly recommend this tour!! Thank you again Erik - best guide ever

The tour was good but had Donation and restroom fees we didn’t expect.

Our guide Jerry or Jeffrey was very nice. We would have liked to have had a heads up on the donation cost and restroom cost to every destination. Didn’t have much cash on us because tour said all entry fees were included. Our guide did let us borrow some money until we found a money exchange to pay him back. Also went to different monkey forest then Ubud but had less people.
