Full description
Dogsledding is a traditional mode of transportation in the Arctic. Set off with all you need, including a musher, a sled, and a team of Alaskan huskies, for a wonderful experience in the Arctic wilderness. Your experienced guides love dogsledding and are excited to share the amazing feeling of leading a dogsled with all visitors to Tromsø.

Get picked up from the meeting point in Tromsø city and head to the kennel, where you'll hear about the history of the craft from a musher. Depart from the kennel and slide into the snow-covered Tamokdalen valley, weaving between trees and over hills. During the tour, you'll have the chance to spot the amazing northern lights should they appear.

No experience or equipment is required, as you'll be set up with everything you need upon arrival. Listen to a briefing on how to use the sled and then head off into the wild. The sled team consists of two people sharing one team of dogs. The experience is active and requires a high level of teamwork. Alaskan huskies love to run, but on parts of the tour, together with your team, you'll have to help push.
