What people are saying about Tromsø

This was the highlight of our visit to Tromsø!

We loved it! The dogs were great! Our musher (the owner) was absolutely wonderful. We loved her! The food was the best camp food we had in Norway. (My Indian relatives were thrilled at the excellent vegetarian option, since meat-eating is nearly universal in Norway.) Every staff person we met was warm and engaging. (I felt like I was among friends.) Not all of our adventures had such great staff. One small suggestion: the dressing room was very cramped. When people are dressing, you can't get past them to leave. It would actually be easier to move around if the bench in the middle were outdoors.) We are so grateful! It was the high-point of our visit. THANKS!!

Amazing. Best effort to find the lights for us - successfully!

Akos took us out to track the northern lights. We went out early September. We had fairly clear skies and observed an incredible light show at our first stop. Our guides are dedicated to sharing the magical experience and were willing to go to many different locations in the event we were not successful in finding the lights. They do everything they can to find the lights. We kept warm by a campfire they built and were provided hot beverages and marshmallows to roast while enjoying the spectacular light show. Would definitely recommend. Give yourself more than one night in Tromso just in case the lights/weather aren't cooperating.

Wonderful experience, definitely worth learning to do yourself.

My daughter and I went on this trip from Tromso. The venue wasn't far and we were provided with warm clothing and coached on how to control the dog sled. We spent a very enjoyable time out with the dogs and then we're told all about them and shown where they live and the puppies. To add icing on the cake, we were treated to a delicious lunch in a cosy round wooden hut with a fire in the centre.

Amazing! Saw the lights and had allot of fun!

Robin and Jess our guides were the nicest guys ever, they looked after us in the dark and cold for hours until we eventually got to meet the green lady. We had such bad weather the whole drive but they kept our spirits up and kept us safe and entertained and fed on the road. For the price and the experience you really cant beat it. Please check them out.

Positive staff but not perfectly organised

It would have been nice if we would have maybe a reindeer fur to sit on , in the snow, during those 4 hours we were waiting for the northern light to show. It would also be nice to have some more snacks than 2 marshmallows and a few chips for the whole group. But since the staff was nice and inspiring we hade a nice experience totally.
