Full description
What is bokun? In the Dalmatian language, it means “little piece”, from the Italian word boccone. Why bokun? In this culinary walking tour, you will enjoy bokuns of Dalmatian cuisine in Trogir’s traditional restaurants and shops. All you need to bring is your appetite.

Starting from the Kairos Travel Trogir Office, walk around the city center, passing Kamerlengo Fortress and St. Mark’s tower on the way to the first culinary stop of the tour, the Pašike Restaurant. At this family-owned heritage hotel and restaurant, taste your first bokun accompanied by a glass of Croatian wine.

Next, pass the North Town Gate and enter the city through its main street, the Gradska Ulica (Town Street). Here you can see the main square and the St. Nicolas monastery and wander through hidden streets heading towards the second culinary stop, the Tragos Restaurant. Here you will try the second bokun accompanied by a glass traditional wine.

Continue to Stipčić and the gift shop Baba. The owner of the house, Mrs Zdenka, has been baking the traditional sweet, Trogir Rafiol, for decades. Her daughter, Marijana, will welcome you into their traditional handcrafts shop to try this sweet accompanied by a bičerin (small glass) of Dalmatian brandy.

Our last bokun will be in Delicium Nostrum, an authentic Croatian souvenirs shop. Here you will taste the typical Dalmatian dessert wine, Prošek, before walking past the waterfront and back to the main office.
