Absolutely recommended experience. The guide proved to be professional, exhaustive and capable. In the two hours of tour available (however not enough to visit the whole site) he tried to show us the most beautiful and interesting places and elements, giving us advice on what to see even after the end of the guided tour. Only observation regarding the management of the guided tour: the group also had two foreign tourists, managed by the guide in an excellent way, considering the continuous need for Italian-English translation of the contents. However, the double explanation took longer, limiting the visit which could have been more extensive.

Pompeii is a wonderful and well organized site, but to fully enjoy it, it is advisable to be accompanied by a guide. Andrea, the guide we booked through getyourguide, is really very prepared, friendly and passionate and conveys knowledge and emotions. The ride of about 2 abundant hours was pleasant, interesting and easy to follow even for non-experts. Highly recommended.

Very confusing to meet guide. We were there at time told (15 mins before time) and guide was not there. Also was not there at time supposed to leave. Eventually we wandered around and found someone. Didnt leave for tour until 45 minutes after scheduled time. Headset was hard to make out. A lot of static. Tour was short and we wanted to see more so we left tour before the end.
