Stunning location + charming and experienced guide (Matt) = BEST!

This was the highlight of my visit to Iceland. Our fun guide Matt created an exciting and safe (yet challenging) hike while entertaining us with many "fun facts" about Iceland's geology and geography, and perceptive comments about Icelandic culture, language, attitudes, and history. The hike is set in the beautiful highlands and the dip into the geothermal pond after the hike should not be not to be missed. The bus ride there and back was also comfortable and fun as the amazing bus driver expertly drove around some scary curves. This was the best tour ever!

Four hour hike and splendid ride through unique colourful landscape.

Great Portuguese guide on this trip that is about ten hours including travel from Reykjavík. Wear walking shoes/ boots to get the most from this hike and of course, bring a camera. A ‘must do’ if you have limited time in Iceland.

Fabulous day with unforgettable scenery.

Really terrific guide made the day. Saw the tip of the glacier plus waterfalls and back sands. Unforgettable.

my favourite landscape in Iceland, it will blow your mind

If you want to be amazed by the beauty of Iceland, this should be on your list. The tour itself is very basic, they take you there, tell you a few funky things to know about the nature there, and then leave you to it. We had about 6 hrs to spend there, which was enough to do some hiking and to enjoy the hot spring. Try it, you'll love it. I only wish we had stayed there for 3-4 days to hike all the paths, it would have been amazing.

This tour was fantastic with the guide and the driver. Thanks a lot!

Well, I really loved to drive through the Highlands with the driver and the guide and many people taking part on this tour to Landmannalaugar. It was dry and the sun shone and the driver was so well doing along this dusty, narrow mountain street. The landscape is so strange and beautiful. We even saw a Kraterlake and the colored mountains with lots of very lovely little flowers on the lava and in the valley there, touched very hot water comming out of the ground and it was a possibility to take a warm bath there in a natural heated pool. We saw a camp for staying in tents with lots of hiking people there, drove near to Hekla, the volcano that errupts more often than others, but to our luck not on this day und there was a mountain cafe in trucks, really nice and a perfect Tour on this sunny day.
