Great information to help you understand the site.

Our guide and initial greeters were kind, knowledgable and concerned for our experience. They met us in the Metro station as promised and found a place nearby for us to use the toilet at the last minute, offered cold water, warned us of pickpockets etc. The guide was informative, made time for personal requests, and showed particular concern for w/1 couple w/medical issues. The only disappointing thing was that in trying to meet personal requests/questions we ended up w/only 10 mins to explore on our own at the Acropolis top. It also seemed like the facility closed earlier than normal, but I'm not sure why. It worked out fine and is worth the money and time to see this amazing historical site.

Perfect tour thanks to our very knowledgable guide Stelios

In short - you will see what your heart desires! Stelios will explain in great detail what to expect at each site and how to best find your way around. Stelios will adapt his plan sto your needs and even improve the timing in between locations in order to maximise the discovery of wotrhwile sites. Thank you Stelios - you not only were our driver, now you are our friend!

Athens Half-Day Private City Tour Reviewed by

Excellent guide. Great information and pacing.

Kimon, our guide, took us from top to bottom on a hot and windy day. He kept all the information flowing, answered any questions and the group moving at a good pace in the heat whilst still ensuring everyone was in shade where possible. One of the best walking tours we have done..

Helpful, depends on the time of the year

We went in September and I’m sure if we had gone first thing in the morning it would have been well worth it. We went around 9:30 and there was only a line of 40 or so. Although it was probably worth it to skip the line. The acropolis was insanely crowded, but still enjoyable.

Good basic introduction to the sites on the Acropolis, incl theatres

A nice clear explanation of the basics on the Acropolis. This included a bit of history, explanation of the purpose of the various buildings, and an enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide.
