Full description
The tour departs Tel Aviv at 2:00 AM and Jerusalem at 3:00 AM and drives towards the Jordan Valley, passing magnificent desert landscapes along the way. Arrive at Masada National Park and follow the famous Snake Path to the top of the cliff at the fascinating Masada fortress. Feel the cool night slowly turn into day and watch a spectacular sunrise over the Dead Sea, illuminating the surrounding desert and mountain regions.

At the lookout, learn about the rich-history of Masada, a UNESCO World Heritage Listed site that is perched upon a clifftop overlooking the Judean Desert and the Dead Sea. With your guide, uncover the stories surrounding the fortress, which was built by King Herod the Great and dates back to 37 BC.
