What people are saying about Sydney

Wonderful day tour to the Blue Mountain from Sydney

Me and the wife were visiting Sydney and wanted to leave the city to see the Blue Mountains that we have heard so much about. We found this day tour at the very last minute on getyourguide.com, and basically booked it for the next morning. The email replied from the company was fast, and they were able to arrange it so that they can pick us up right in front of our hotel. A little before 7am our guide came to pick us up right on time and took us on our way, along with a few other guests. The size of the tour group was perfect and our guide was both knowledgable (being a local of the area) and super fun to be with! We had a hand-cooked breakfast (camping style), and then onwards to adventures around Kakoomba! We really enjoyed seeing the "Grand Canyon of Australia" (super gorgeous), the Three Sisters and Castle formations, the Scenic World sky-railways and "warm tropical forest", and feeding wallabees and kangaroos at the Featherdale Wildlife Park. We highly recommend this tour!

The idea of a relaxing high tea was great but it was very noisy

We loved this, but you need to book a window seat which we didn't realise at time of booking, so we were placed in the middle of all these other tables on the outside of the room, big party which meant big noise. We asked could we be moved to the back of the cruise where another 2 people were sitting, and for an extra $15.00 each we were moved, then it became what it was suppose to be relaxing! The only problem we had was that the sun was in the wrong spot so the windows of the cruise were very dirty so sometimes you couldn't make out some things on the land that the commentary was talking about.

Spectacular views; uneven, slippery, wet walking needed

The views are wonderful; the tour guide’s accent was not easy for a non-Australian. The rows on the bus were very close, so it was cramped seating. No overhead bin for backpacks, that had to be tucked between our legs. Lots of walking in uneven, steep, slippery, often wet surfaces. My wife who is 67 and quite fit couldn’t go down to Wentworth Falls. I am wondering how we would have coped in a wet day. We went on a glorious and sunny day. We were not advised about how cold it world get at the Three Sisters viewing gallery at sunset.

Very informative, entertaining & enjoyable day, would recommend.

We have been to Sydney several times but wanted to see parts that we had not seen. The time just flew by as Maria showed us around lots of really interesting places to see, eat and drink. The low numbers really helped us to get to know our other guests and Maria's information was delivered in a low key and friendly way. Our only issue was that we had not done this tour earlier. great value for money and not too taxing physically at all. Would totally recommend!

Highly recommended, it was a fantastic day trip

It was a fantastic trip, Dave is great guide with good sense of humour! I actually prefer this awesome day trip than blue mountain trip. Great value for money, good food, highly recommended. (The advertising photos do not do the trip justice - more beautiful in person) don’t miss it :)
