See native Australian animals, including koala and platypus, along with creatures from around the world such as Asian elephants, lions and giraffes.

In the afternoon, board your Whale Watching Cruise from the Zoo wharf and experience another amazing animal adventure. Go in search of the migrating whales that turn the Pacific Ocean waters near Sydney into a prime viewing spot for southern right and humpback whales between the months of May and November.

Great two for one wildlife experience. The zoo is beautiful and we were lucky enough to have two humpback whales play around our boat for quite awhile. We also saw fur seals and common dolphins. Great way to spend a day.

The Toronga Zoo is fantastic. You can have a nice walk and have a great view of Sydney. The Whale Watching tour wasn’t worth it. We saw two whales and stayed with them all the time. For Whale Watching you definitely have to go to Queensland, e.x. Whitsunday Island.
