What people are saying about Stratford-upon-Avon

Tour great but guide Sue was appalling . So many racist remarks

The tour of the three towns were lovely and great to see Shakespeare's home and Anne Hathaways cottage. However the tour wd have been much better there had been more historical information about all of the places we stopped at including Stratford upon Avon. We did not learn anything extra by being on a tour as opposed to going on our own. Tour guide made banal small talk that also consisted of insulting remarks abt fat Japanese children and drunken gypsies and " red indians" and angry black guys. Shockingly offensive

Good tour visiting the most important sites

Good tour to the most important sites. Guide was driver as well due to small number on tour. He was very knowledgeable but low on volume due to flu recovery, but no microphone. Also rain noise made it difficult to hear from back seat, halfway change over seats and hearing was good. Vehicle was well maintained. No hard selling of souvenir shops to visit was a welcome relief when compared to other tour guides.

Good, but the Costwalds stops were too short.

Our guide (Dan) were very set and has been very kind, but I would much appreciate a longer stop in the Costwalds villages. Maybe the departure of the tour must be anticipated to have more time to visit the locations. In Stratford Upon Avon there is only time to see the Shakespeare Museum and have a brief lunch, The Oxford stop is adeguate and it's a fantastic city!

Warwick was great, Stratford was excellent . Didn't see Cotswold

Our guide, Allan, helped out a lot because I used my walker and scooter. He was most accommodating. My wife cried when we visited Stratford upon Avon because she had taught Shakespear for thirty years. It was kind of a pilgrimage for her.

Great day out with much local information.

Very good with clear information re pick-up points. Cotswolds was the only place I've not been to before. I expected to see many unique cottages nestling in villages with cafes. It could have been anywhere!
